mise was built by people who spent too many Sunday nights counting stock on a clipboard. The idea is simple: counting should be as fast as scanning, and the numbers that come out should tell you where the money went.
What mise does
- Counts by scanning. Point the camera (or a Bluetooth scanner) at the barcode; the product comes back with name, brand, size and category. You type the quantity.
- Needs no product setup. The mise AI finds each product from the barcode or a photo; items without a barcode are added once by name or by a photo of the label.
- Keeps stock on hand up to date. Deliveries in, usage and waste out, with a history of who moved what, when and where.
- Compares counts. What you should have versus what you counted, per product, in units and money.
- Works out food cost and COGS from counts and invoices, at the price you actually paid.
- Warns before you run out. Par levels per product and a ready-to-send order list.
- Handles open bottles and bulk. Partial units, and Bluetooth scales that put the weight straight on the product.
- Works for teams and multiple stores. Invite staff, choose who sees costs, keep each location's stock separate or see them together.
- Exports to Excel, PDF and CSV.
